MOC: 42055 C model, Snow Groomer
My latest MOC, a snow groomer built from 42055, Bucket Wheel Excavator. It features 5.5 power functions, including crane lifting, crane rotation, raising and lowering the rear implement, raising and lowering the front plow, and forward-backward driving and skid steering. For manual functions, there's front plow slewing, and pendular suspension. The tracks are each engaged by 1 multi-directional gearbox, therefore allowing skid steering, 1 track operation, and straight driving without ever changin the direction on the BB.
Overall, The MOC turned out OK. However, the crane is a mess, the front plow implementation is terrible, and the rear implement is inaccurate. Therefore, I will be doing some redesigning of these elements, and posting the results of it here.
